SHARE Study
In this study program, you will have the unique opportunity to engage yourself with the choreographic language of Sharon Eyal, led by Olivia Ancona, an L-E-V Sharon Eyal former dancer and now stager. Over the course of six days, you will study and explore a large aspect of L-E-V's repertoire through a combination of personal development, choreographic material, and repertoire. This is a perfect program and opportunity to learn more about Sharon's broadly acclaimed work.
Aligning with the high standards of our existing programs, SHARE Intensive and SHARE Workshops, SHARE Study is designed with professional or pre-professional dancers, movers, or performers in mind.
About Olivia Ancona
Olivia Ancona was born in San Francisco, however, grew up in Berkeley, London, and predominately Portland, Oregon. After training at the Juilliard School, she joined the Batsheva Ensemble (2010-2012) under the direction of Ohad Naharin and returned to the main company in 2015. Olivia was a founding member of Sharon Eyal’s L-E-V and has worked with Mats Ek, Johan Inger, Wim Vandekeybus in the Royal Swedish Ballet, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (Eastman), and Luca Veggetti, amongst others. Application Requirements

All Applicants must be professional or pre-professional dancers, movers, or performers, with a minimum age of 16 years old.

You must provide a maximum of 1-minute video link (Vimeo or Youtube) of your dancing either improvising or choreographed solo. No group piece. No Instagram or Facebook link.

Study Description
Beginning with a warm-up developed through a guided improvisation movement vocabulary developed by Olivia Ancona's so-called Moving Through, dancers will be able to explore their own creativity through exercises and tasks. The 6-day study will develop into learning choreographic phrases from the L-E-V Company repertoire.
Acceptance
Within 2 days after receiving your application form, we will send our response via email. 7 days to pay your tuition is required once our email is sent. Every un-paid application is canceled on the 8th day at 9 am. You can pay via Credit Card or Offline by bank transfer.
About Sharon Eyal
Sharon Eyal was born in Jerusalem and based in France. She danced with the Batsheva Dance Company between 1990- 2008. Eyal served as Associate Artistic Director for Batsheva from 2003–04, and as a House Choreographer for the company from 2005–12. During her time with the company, she created 16 new creations.
In 2005 Eyal started to collaborate with Gai Behar on her creations and the L-E-V company and different projects.
During 2009 Eyal began creating pieces for other dance companies around the world. In 2013 Eyal launched L-E-V with her long-time collaborator Gai Behar. Since August 2022, L-E-V is a registered non-profit French Association, basing its activity in France.
Application Requirements
All applicants must be professional or pre-professional dancers, movers, or performers, with a minimum age of 16 years old. No amateurs will be accepted!
We need a recent and clear video link of your dancing (Vimeo or Youtube). We need to see your dancing, physicality, and artistic potential. We highly recommend a simple in-studio improvisation.

A full detailed resume or CV is to be uploaded (max 15Mb) or attached as a weblink (Google Drive, website, wetransfer). Any application not fully completed will be automatically canceled.
Deadline
On the first come first served basis, within the limited places we have.
Acceptance / Group Assignment
Accepted and non-accepted dancers will be notified by email within 2 working days of receiving your application.
Payment
Once you receive our confirmation email, an invoice is automatically sent in a separate email (check your spam box). This one is valid for 7 days and is automaticaly deleted by the platform if unpaid on the 8 day at 9 a.m. Berlin time (check your spam box).
