SHARE THE DANCE INTENSIVE

Georgi Milev was born in Madan (Bulgaria) on the 24th of November 1981. At age nine he entered the National School of Dancing Arts in Sofia and graduated seven
years later. He got his first contract as a dancer at the National Ballet of Sofia where he worked for one year. In the year 2000, he joined the Theater Altenburg-Gera (Germany) for a year and a half before he moved to France to work for CCN Ballet de Lorraine for another year and a half. In 2003 he was offered a contract by Les Ballet de Monte-Carlo under the direction of Jean-Christophe Maillot and dance until 2004 when he entered Nederlands Dans Theater
2 (NDT2). In 2006, after working for the junior company, he was asked to join the prestigious Nederlands Dans Theater 1 (NDT1) where he performed until 2016. During his carrier, Georgi has worked and created with choreographers like Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek, Crystal Pite, Hans van Manen, Lightfoot-Leon, Wayne McGregor, Johan Inger...
Since 2016 he is a freelance dancer, teacher, assistant/choreographer.
