Eve-Marie Dalcourt
Alexander Ekmam
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Ève-Marie Dalcourt studied for 5 years at l’École supérieure de Ballet du Québec, under the direction of Anik Bissonnette, where she trained both in contemporary and classical ballet. Her passion for movement and growth brought her overseas to the Summer Intensive of the Nederlands Dans Theater, one of the world’s leading contemporary dance company. At the term of this fulfilling experience, she was asked to immediately join the second company. She danced for NDT2 from 2016 to 2019, performing pieces from Leon & Lightfoot, Marco Goecke, Iohan Inger, Sharon Eyal, Alexander Ekman and Felix Landerer. Side to her dancing career, her leadership and commitment made her, for three consecutive years, the head of the organization of Switch, a charity event entirely produced by the dancers of NDT. Eager to support new initiatives and artistic voices Ève has now decided to become a freelancer, already allowing her to perform the works of Giocanda Barbuto and Kristian Lever and to take part in various productions with the Korzo Theater. Her enthusiastic energy and great desire to share her experience has also brought her to teach workshops in Japan, Mexico, Italy and Montreal. She looks forward in taking part in new collaborations and artistic adventures.
