Artist Development

The SHARE Mentoring Program is a 20 weeks journey designed to support artist development and professional growth through consistent, in-depth guidance from leading dance figures and choreographers.

You engage in a structured mentoring environment, working closely each week with two mentors for seven hours a day.

This long-term format supports ongoing growth, while being on your journey to audition, research, or simply develop your own work. SHARE MENTORING is a meaningful exchange, fostering deep learning and reflection over time.

Multi-Repertoire

SHARE Intensive offers a multi-repertoire experience, providing dancers with the opportunity to engage deeply with the work of multiple leading or master choreographers. The intensive is scheduled with one or two groups depending on SHARE’s acceptance rate. Each workshop includes a warm-up and a repertoire session.

Over seven days with three and a half hours of daily practice, participants immerse themselves in a variety of choreographic styles and methods, fostering versatility, insight and a broader understanding of contemporary repertoire. SHARE Intensive takes place annually in Berlin and Paris as well as during SHARE Festival.

Short Focus

SHARE Workshop offers a short focus format dedicated to the repertoire of a leading or master choreographer. Taking place over 2 to 3 days, with 5 hours of work per day, the workshop centers on hands-on engagement with the choreographic material of one choreographer.

SHARE Workshop is also taking place in a tandem workshop format with a shared schedule.

This course format from SHARE is designed for concentrated exploration, immediate immersion, and direct experience with the choreographer’s repertoire. SHARE Workshop takes place every year in different cities across Europe and at SHARE Festival.

Deep Dive

SHARE Study is a focused deep dive into the repertoire of a leading or master choreographer. For six hours a day, participants engage in intensive, in-depth work, closely exploring the material to reveal its structure, nuance and artistic intention.

Led by one or two workshop leaders, SHARE Study also involve props, and costumes if the repertoir studied was created with and implemented within the choreography.

This 6 day format is designed for concentrated study, immersion, and a refined understanding of the choreographer’s work. SHARE Study takes place every year in December and in August in Berlin Only.

Full Experience

SHARE Festival offers a full experience of SHARE’s comprehensive training courses, combining the diversity of the Intensive, the focused engagement of the Workshop, and the in-depth approach of the Study course. Over 14 days, participants immerse themselves in a rich, multifaceted program, exploring multiple choreographic repertoires, methods, and artistic approaches.

The festival provides a complete SHARE journey and an extensive understanding of different contemporary dance practices. SHARE Festival takes place every year in August in Berlin.

To book our courses, it is mandatory to apply to join SHARE’s Community. You'll gain full access to our complete course catalogue.

INVITATION

Upon request we can provide you with an invitation letter for visa or grant purposes
